The KEY Project is a registered independent charity working with young people aged 11 – 19 across the Kent Estuary area in South Lakeland.
We run weekly term-time youth clubs in Milnthorpe, Arnside, Storth and Levens, as well as indoor and outdoor activities during the school holidays.

Our youth-led programmes are designed to engage young people in a wide range of creative learning opportunities. These sessions encourage input, participation and decision making from the young people themselves, supported by our team of professional youth workers.

KEY is grounded in the community; valuing the relationships we have built in the areas we work in, and the contribution of our local volunteers. We encourage interagency working, and actively seek partnership opportunities.
KEY was originally established in 2015 by the churches in the Kent Estuary. It is supported by Westmorland and Furness Council and grant-giving trusts alongside local churches, and is run by a committee of trustees that meets regularly.
