Who are we and what do we do?

The KEY Project is a registered independent charity working with young people aged 11 – 19 across the Kent Estuary area. Our weekly youth clubs run in Milnthorpe, Arnside, Storth and Levens.
KEY values the personal, physical, and emotional development of all young people; supporting them to “Unlock their Potential’. Our youth-led programmes are designed to engage young people in a wide range of creative learning opportunities. These sessions encourage input, participation and decision making from the young people themselves, supported by our team of professional youth workers.
KEY is committed to being grounded in the community. We value the relationships we have built in the areas we work in, and the contribution of our local volunteers. We encourage interagency working, and actively seek partnership opportunities.
KEY was established in 2015 by the Christian churches in the Kent Estuary. It is supported by the churches and grant-giving trusts, and is run by a committee of trustees that meets regularly.
